The world’s first conference on human augmentation. An exploration of the intersection of technology and humanity.

In August 2016, a revolutionary conference was held at the Paley Center in New York City, focusing on the topic of human augmentation. Hosted by CNN’s Courageous brand studio in collaboration with Square Enix, the publisher of interactive entertainment products in the Americas, the “Human by Design” campaign aims to delve into the intersection of technology and humanity. The conference will assemble leading experts to engage in meaningful discussions and challenge our perception of being human. The campaign’s visually stunning brand identity and design, spanning ten weeks, is centered around the theme of human augmentation and cyborg culture. The exploration will also examine whether human augmentation should be deemed a human right in today’s society.
